Our Response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) for Our Patients

Our staff are prepared and fully taking the appropriate measures in accordance to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the protection and safety of our patients and team members.

  • If you have recently traveled overseas, you must stay home for 14 days after returning, monitoring your health, and practice social distancing.
  • Anyone that is sick with a cough, fever, or has trouble breathing normally should call their primary care physician before coming to appointments in our clinic.

In the wake of the Coronavirus, the federal government has released a statement urging all private insurance companies and Medicare to step up and add telemedicine / telehealth services for their insured members.  It is critical in some circumstances for you to be able to acquire these services from your home.  Now is the time to access physical therapy services remotely.

Evaluation of all orthopedic injuries, post surgeries, neck and back pain and general information regarding physical therapy is available through your phone or computer.  Please reach out to us to ensure we can connect and meet your needs.

When you are in pain, you want to make sure that you are working with a physical therapist that cares about you, understands your injury and has the professional knowledge and experience to make your rehabilitation process as successful as possible.

The goal of our three highly trained physical therapists is to facilitate healing and to restore efficient movement and comfort as quickly as possible.  This is accomplished through leading edge equipment, proven ‘hands on’ techniques, one-on-one therapy, personalized orthopedic and sports rehabilitation programs, clinical expertise and genuine care for patients’ well being.

All of these things, plus the ease of accessibility, free parking, and the availability of an appointment within 24 hours, are what make Adirondack Physical Therapy & Fitness stand out as a leading facility in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.

Our Physical Therapists average over 16 years hands-on experience and are each offered continuing education benefits, so you know you are in the most capable hands utilizing the most recent advancements in rehabilitation.

Owner/Therapist Natalie Barber says, “It is very gratifying and rewarding for me to see our patients’ quality of life improve.

At Adirondack Physical Therapy and Fitness we have the professional knowledge and clinical expertise to ensure that patients receive the best care in the area.

At Adirondack Physical Therapy & Fitness, our highly trained physical therapists can evaluate your condition and identify the source of your discomfort or dysfunction.  Once evaluated, our therapists can develop a treatment program that will usually involve some form of manual therapy and exercise, as well as modalities if they are needed to treat the problem areas.  You will also receive instruction in a home exercise program as well as education on proper body mechanics and posture to prevent re-injury.
