Jesse McKeever, Physical Therapist Assistant

I have been a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 13 years, having have lived in and around the North Country for nearly 30 years.  I have experience in outpatient, inpatient, and acute rehabilitation.  In each of these settings I have come to appreciate and enjoy patient interaction, establishing trust and building relationships.  I find it highly gratifying to empower people to discover that they can be more than they think they are.  The look on someone’s face when they realize they have accomplished something they previously thought impossible is priceless.  My goal is to not only help people obtain increased health, but to learn ways to maintain good health and avoid future health issues.

In health care the term best practice is often used, however I feel that the meaning of this term should be ever changing.  I look forward to continuing to learn new ways of providing service and from time to time having my notions being challenged concerning what is the best holistic approach to helping someone improve their life.  In so doing I hope to continue to work toward becoming someone with an ever evolving skill set of tools to address someone’s whole body needs.
