What Adirondack PT has done to make your appointments as safe as possible?

  1. Cleaning and disinfecting regularly – Our efforts have intensified our cleaning and disinfecting procedures of frequently touched areas.
  2. Our team is being educated about COVID-19 – We are regularly educating and updating clinical and administrative team members with accurate information from trusted sources such as the CDC, OSHA, and NYSDoH.
  3. Patients are recommended to use hand sanitizer and/or wash their hands – before each treatment; after touching paperwork and/or any surfaces and/or therapy equipment, and; upon leaving our building.

If I have symptoms such as shortness of breath, a cough, or a recent fever, should I come in for my regularly scheduled therapy session?

No, stay home if you are suffering with any symptoms such as a cough or shortness of breath. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment.

If you have had a fever, wait 24-hours from the time your fever ended.  Please call us to then assess if your therapy treatment session will take place at our facility.

If cancelling an appointment, will I be assessed a penalty due to the COVID-19 outbreak?

Every situation is unique.  Our expectation is that you to contact us if you are not coming in for an appointment, this is our regular policy in normal times.  In most cases, we will assess the situation and present reasonable options for you and your treatment.
